LIVE IMPROV SHOW:
Since 1999, The Josh and Tamra Show has been New York City's only puppet improv comedy Duo. They recently relocated to Los Angeles in the fall of 2008. The show is one part puppet and one part long-form improv. Starring Josh Cohen, Tamra Malaga, and a cast of amazing puppets. Each show begins with a suggestion from the audience, then Josh and Tamra create a feature length montage of scenes which combines human characters and puppets. The Josh and Tamra Show contains adult situations and language.

THE JOSH AND TAMRA SHOW: HISTORY
In 1999, Josh became a Muppeteer when he was asked to join the Jim Henson Company. That same year, Josh and Tamra met while performing at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York City. They both received training from Chicago improv luminaries Charna Halpern, Miles Stroth, as well as the original members of the UCB: Ian Roberts, Matt Walsh and SNL's Amy Poehler. Josh and Tamra have performed in several productions at the UCB NY Theater, most notably they are proud alumni of the UCB's house Harold Teams, Team C.H.U.D., The Joe Ross Tribe, and My Kickass Van. Both frequently performed on NBC's Late Night with Conan O'Brien and host on an on-line series on AOL.com's,"The DL".

The Josh and Tamra Show have been touring, teaching and headlining improv festivals and variety of venues coast to coast since 2000 which include: Chicago Improv Festival 10, The Los Angeles Festival of Improv Comedy, The Del Close Marathon, Dirty South Improv Festival, The Toronto Improv Festival, Twin Cities Improv Festival, The Seattle Festival of Improvised Theater... and many more.

The Josh and Tamra Show are recipients of the Best Comedy Award for their pilot Apartment 413, from the New York Television Festival.
